How do I book?
So you're ready to go? Great! I'm so happy you're onboard. Just shoot me an email via the contact page to let me know which session suits you best. Once we have decided on a date, a 50% deposit and a signed contract is required to secure your date. Your preparation guide and personalised questionnaire will help me tailor a session just for you, so the more detail, the better. Remember we are capturing memories for you, we want the session to be as authentically YOU as possible.
How do I choose a location?
Think about what makes your family who they are. Where are your favourite memories? A favourite picnic spot by the river, Dads favourite surf beach, or reading stories in bed. Where can you tell your family story best?
Natural light indoor or out on location, the choice is yours.
What time will my session be?
All lifestyle sessions ideally take place during golden hour, that is the hour after sunrise or before sunset.
Where are you based and do you travel?
Short answer; the Bellarine Peninsula, Victoria and YES I love to travel! I'm up for pretty much anything - alpine nuptials or seaside siorees, you name it and I'm there!
*Currently living and offering sessions in Pemberton, BC, Canada.
If you want me to photograph your story, and are further than 50kms away, you may incur a travel fee but I try to minimise this as much as possible to fit your budgetary needs.
Do you photograph weddings?
YES! I love being by your side to help you before your wedding day. I'll send you a guide to help you get the best images on your day, the best moments for the couple photos, the different light...On your wedding day, all I want to capture are the feelings, the mood, the emotions, the calm and crazy moments and all the details that make your wedding unique. Decided on something a little different to celebrate you nuptials? I'm in, I love the idea of a non-traditional, laid back wedding.
When will we get our photos?
You will receive an online gallery link with all your photos within a maximum of 6 weeks for weddings and 3-4 weeks for lifestyle sessions (sometimes less depending on the season I photograph your story). You can download all the photos from the gallery but also share them, choose your favourites, and as well as order prints!
How many pictures will we receive?
As a rule I do not have a set amount of images you will receive, this is because I am telling your story. I don't think your story can or should be defined by as set amount. However, I will always choose quality rather than quantity and some images will be selected as obvious punctuations to your story, while others will be selected for their whimsy artistry.
Why Colour or B+W not Colour AND B+W?
The answer is simple, not all images look good in both colour AND black + white. In fact not often they look good in both. Also your images have been photographed specifically to be presented as colour or black + white.
Do you have Gift Vouchers?
Yes, gift vouchers are available. You can select a specific session or a nominal amount to gift.
All gift vouchers must be paid in full at time of purchase.
The nitty gritty - t & c's
- A 50% deposit is required to secure all bookings.
- Remaining balance is due 7 days prior to session.
- Any cancellations will forfeit deposit paid.
- Any rescheduling must be done with a minimum of 24hrs notice.
- All images remain the copyright of 'FOLK Photography' and may not be manipulated or used for commercial use (except for commercial sessions whereby full commercial copyright will be given).
